Bots + Multiple Accounts = More Followers on Social Media

To get more followers on social media platforms…

Embrace your inner cyborg.

Said no one ever.

But hear me out.

Some tasks belong in the domain of heart and soul.

Like honing your brand or listening to customer feedback.

You can’t replace human finesse here.

As for monotonous clicking and scrolling…

Totally replaceable.

By something heartless and soulless.

Like a bot.

I’m talking about using artificial assistance to leverage organic effort.

We’ll touch on some organic things too, but our main focus today is how to use bots and multiple accounts to get more followers.

This guide will be doubly helpful for those who help others grow their social following – i.e., a social media manager – because you can guarantee fast and steady growth without compromising the human core of your client’s campaign.

Or, in other words, keeping it real.

How to get more followers organically.

The first step is to understand what makes people follow other people.

Mostly, they’re looking for something interesting or useful.

They may also just want to see their friends’ lives unfold.

So let’s look at some ways to make sure you’re providing value to your social media audience.

Targeting.

First, consider who you are trying to reach.

Are you targeting the right demographic?

What kind of content would appeal to them?

Do you need to provide information to help them solve problems?

Or maybe you’re just sharing fun things that they might enjoy.

Whatever you decide, keep in mind that if you don’t give them anything worthwhile, they’ll leave.

If you’re lost, take a look at what others are doing in your niche. Make a list of what they do well and what they can improve on. This exercise should give you a solid template to start with.

Branding.

Next, think about what you want to say.

Is there any reason why someone should care about what you’re posting?

Maybe you’ve got a new product coming out.

Or perhaps you’re announcing a big event.

Either way, tell them about it.

And do it with style.

Your style.

Hone the voice of your brand into a personality that your audience enjoys listening to. If you can really tap into that voice, it’s easy to create a continuous flow of content without sounding mechanical.

Strategy.

Follow this up with a solid social media strategy.

You want your voice to have that off-the-cuff vibe, while still working towards your business goals.

This requires some organization.

Take advantage of social media automation tools that allow you to manage social media posts.

Look into content calendars, social listening software, and databases that can receive, manage and implement feedback.

That way, your content is in relationship to the real world.

Marketing.

As you flesh out your posting schedule, you can think about what kind of marketing and advertising suits your products or services.

The platform you use will also dictate what pathway you take here.

For instance, paid advertising may fit your budget on Instagram, but may not be worth it elsewhere.

Other things to consider are:

  • Cross-marketing on your other social channels
  • Targeting relevant hashtags and popular hashtags
  • Press releases, interviews, and guest appearances
  • Partnerships with influencers, and other brand advocates
  • Launching contests and offering rewards to create user-generated content
  • Being active on relevant forums and accounts, answering questions, and joining conversations

Get more followers with multiple social media accounts.

Now that we’ve covered how to find your target market, create a persona, and develop an effective strategy, let’s talk about how to set up multiple accounts.

This is important because when you’re starting out, you probably won’t have a lot of money to invest in ads.

But if you have multiple accounts, you can spread your ad spend across several platforms.

Creating multiple accounts isn’t very difficult, so I’ll leave that in your capable hands.

Protecting your multiple accounts from bans, on the other hand, is worth going over here.

If you want to see how many proxies you need for each social platform, check out this cheat sheet.

For the most part, most social media networks allow you to have multiple personal accounts. However, the rules tighten up for business accounts.

In many cases, violation of the rules will lead to account bans. And not just one account – all accounts that link to the account in violation will also get a ban.

That is unless you manage your multiple social media accounts with proxies and separate user profiles.

All you need to do is create each account with a residential proxy, and then manage them long-term with their very own fresh proxy.

Residential proxies guarantee that you can create a new account that is not linked to any other account. Fresh proxies ensure stable and private IP addresses that you pay for one time.

You can get more details on how to set it up here.

Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s dive into how to get more followers using bots.

Get more followers using bots.

There are two types of bot services:

Those that automate your entire marketing strategy, and those that only automate certain parts of it.

I recommend starting with the latter because they’re easier to set up and less likely to cause harm.

For example, if you’re already running ads on Facebook, you could create a bot that automates the scheduling process.

This means you won’t have to manually update your ad campaigns every day.

Instead, you can simply schedule them once and then forget about them until the next week rolls around.

The same goes for email lists.

If you run a newsletter, you could automate sending emails to subscribers.

That way, you can spend your time focusing on other aspects of your business.

Start by automating one thing at a time, and slowly expand over time.

Once you’ve mastered that, try automating another part of your marketing strategy.

Then another.

Eventually, you’ll have a fully automated system that does everything for you.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the best options.

1. Instagram Bot

Instagram Bot

Instagram has become an extremely popular social media platform.

With more than 1 billion monthly active users, it’s no wonder.

But Instagram isn’t just a place where you share photos.

You can also upload videos and even live streams.

In fact, according to Statista, nearly half of the world’s population uses Instagram.

That makes it a great platform for marketers looking to connect with potential customers.

However, the problem is that it’s not easy to find new followers.

That’s why many businesses turn to Instagram bots.

These programs allow you to automatically follow, unfollow, like and comment on posts.

This helps you build relationships with new people while simultaneously increasing engagement on your own profile.

2. Twitter Bot

Twitter Bot

Twitter is a bit different from Instagram.

While it’s still a good option for connecting with potential customers, it’s much harder to grow your following organically.

That’s because Twitter limits organic reach to just 10% of tweets.

So if you want to increase your exposure, you need to rely on paid advertising or paid promotion.

Fortunately, Twitter bots make both of these things easier.

They allow you to automatically tweet content without having to lift a finger.

3. Tiktok Bot

Tiktok Bot

TikTok is similar to YouTube in that it allows you to post short videos.

However, unlike YouTube, there’s no limit to the number of views you can receive.

And since it’s owned by ByteDance, which owns Musical.ly as well, it’s considered a major influencer among teens and young adults.

As such, it’s perfect for brands targeting younger audiences.

To promote your brand, you can either pay for sponsored posts or get your hands dirty with a TikTok bot.

Either way, you’ll be able to increase your visibility and engage with your audience.

4. Youtube Bot

Youtube Bot

Youtube is a little different than most platforms.

Unlike Facebook, Google+, and LinkedIn, it’s primarily used as a video-sharing site.

That means you don’t need to worry about building a community or growing your network.

All you need to do is create engaging content and watch the traffic roll in.

Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done.

Since there are so many channels out there, it can be hard to stand out.

Luckily, you can use a Youtube bot to help you automate this process.

It will let you schedule when to upload new videos, publish them, and then watch the results.

If you’re serious about making money online, this is one of the most important tools you can invest in.

5. Pinterest Bot

Pinterest Bot

Pinterest is another platform that’s been around for quite a while.

It was originally created as a tool for pinners to organize their collections.

Today, however, it’s become a popular social media channel for sharing images.

Because of its popularity, it’s now being used by companies to market themselves.

For example, the company behind the #1 selling beauty product in America has over 1 million followers on Pinterest.

The secret? They’ve built an automated system to manage all of their accounts.

6. Reddit Bot

Reddit Bot

Reddit is a great place to find inspiration, share knowledge, and connect with other people who have similar interests.

But it’s also a tough place to earn a following.

You won’t see any ads on the front page, but instead, you’ll be shown links to pages full of spammy content.

That makes it difficult to gain traction unless you know how to navigate through the chaos.

Thankfully, you can use a Reddit bot to automate some of this work.

It will give you access to the best content on the site, helping you grow your audience and build credibility.

7. LinkedIn Bot

Linkedin Bot

LinkedIn is similar to Twitter in that it allows you to post messages but limits the number of people who see them.

To do so, it requires you to pay for promoted updates.

But unlike Twitter, it offers multiple ways to promote yourself.

You can either pay to be featured in the newsfeeds of all members, or you can pay to appear in search results.

Either way, it’s worth considering when you’re trying to get noticed.

Automation the Safe Way

Whether social platforms accept bots or not, it’s a good idea to protect your business. There are a number of ways that your accounts can be compromised or suspended.

Luckily, there are cost-effective measures you can take to reduce the risk of losing everything.

The safest way is with residential proxies

Not only is it impossible to link your accounts to each other with the right proxies and digital hygiene – it’s extremely difficult for platforms to spot bots.

Not that you’re doing anything wrong with bots…

But it’s better safe than suspended.
