Discord Ip Ban

What is Discord?

Discord is a gaming communication app that lets you easily voice chat, shares photos, and videos, and joins channels with your friends. It’s free and secure, making it the perfect platform for gaming communities of all sizes.

What are IP bans?

IP bans are a form of network security that involves banning all traffic from a specific IP address or range of IP addresses. This is usually done to prevent malicious activity such as hacking, denial of service attacks, or spamming.

How do they work?

IP bans block the user’s IP address from accessing the website. This can be done either by using a firewall to block the IP address or by using a script to block the IP address.

Why are they used?

IP bans prevent a person or device from accessing online content. This is usually done to prevent spamming or to protect against attacks from specific IP addresses.

Can you IP ban on Discord?

Yes, Discord allows IP banning.

Actually, every ban is an IP ban.

An IP ban is stronger than a typical ban and prevents a person from accessing your server from another account.

Your IP address tells the app or website you’re using who you are and what data you’ve provided to the server you joined.

A server or website usually bans a user’s account.

This ban doesn’t prevent someone from creating another account and rejoining the server.

Discord IP bans fix that.

This indicates that they are barring you from your internet access, device, and location.

Discord bans by phone number and IP address.

VPNs are useful and can circumvent IP limitations. However, using VPNs to circumvent a Discord IP ban carries harsher penalties. It will immediately terminate your account and ban you from the site.

So, it’s much better to use proxies to bypass Discord IP bans.

More on that later.

Types of Discord IP bans.

There are several types of bans on Discord. Knowing which one you’re dealing with can help you navigate around it.

1. Temporary Discord IP bans

A temporary ban on Discord is a way to remove someone from your server for a set period. This is usually done to prevent a user from causing harm or disrupting the server. You must have the “Ban Members” permission enabled to temporarily ban someone.

2. Permanent Discord IP bans

When a user is permanently banned from a Discord server, they can no longer access that server or any of its channels. Permanent bans are typically used for severe offenses such as spamming, advertising, botting, doxxing, or other malicious activity.

3. Server-wide Discord IP bans

A server-wide ban is a ban that is applied to all members of a Discord server. This ban is usually used to prevent a user from spamming or flooding the server.

4. Channel-specific Discord IP bans

A channel-specific ban is a ban on a user in a specific channel. This ban is usually used to prevent users from spamming or posting inappropriate content on a particular channel. A server administrator or moderator must use the “ban” command in the channel where the user is to be banned to impose a channel-specific ban.

5. User-specific Discord IP bans

There are a few different ways that you can ban users on Discord. You can ban them by their Discord ID or username and discriminator.

If you ban someone by their Discord ID, they will no longer be able to use that account to access any of your servers. This is a permanent ban, and they will not be able to create a new account to get around it.

If you ban someone by their username and discriminator, they will no longer be able to use that username on your server. However, they can create a new account and use that instead. This is not a permanent ban, but it will prevent users from using their preferred username on your server.

Can you bypass a Discord IP ban?

There is no way to bypass an IP ban on Discord. If you are banned, you will need to wait until the ban is lifted or contact the server administrator to have the ban removed.

You can, however, get a new IP address.

All you need is a proxy or VPN. We´ll get into it further in the post.

How to avoid getting IP banned on Discord.

Discord is a voice and text chat app for gamers that lets you easily find, join, and chat with friends. It’s free, secure, and works on your desktop and phone.

However, sometimes users run into problems with the app, such as being banned.

If you’ve been banned from Discord, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the problem.

First, check to see if the ban is temporary or permanent. If it’s temporary, the ban will lift itself after a certain time.

However, if the ban is permanent, you’ll need to contact Discord support and explain the situation. They may be able to help you get unbanned.

There are also a few things you can do to try and avoid getting banned in the first place.

  1. Read the rules of the server you’re trying to join. Make sure you understand and follow them.
  1. Don’t spam or flood the chat. This includes sending too many messages at once or posting the same message repeatedly.
  1. Don’t be rude or offensive. This includes using hate speech, harassing other users, or being disruptive.
  2. Use a VPN or Proxy. Using a VPN or proxy will allow you to change your IP address and avoid getting a Discord IP ban.
  3. Avoid using third-party applications. Discord has a strict policy against third-party applications. Using any kind of third-party application may get you banned from the platform.
  4. Follow the Discord Terms of Service. Make sure to read and follow the Discord Terms of Service. Breaking any of the rules may result in a ban.
  5. Be respectful to other users. Treating other users with respect is always a good idea. Being rude or offensive will likely get you a Discord IP ban.

Discord proxies.

Discord proxies are a type of proxy server designed to improve Discord’s performance.

They can improve the app’s speed, reduce lag, and improve reliability.

They can also be used to bypass firewalls, and access blocked websites.

Discord proxies are the most effective way to rejoin a server after being banned.

So what kind of proxy are they?

You can use residential, datacenter, or ISP proxies for discord.

Use residential proxies if you need to change your IP address often. By using rotating residential proxies, you can always change your IP address. You might need proxy rotation if you plan on getting banned often.

Datacenter proxies are fine if you need to keep the same IP address. Word on the street is that datacenter proxies can cause IP bans because many websites and apps monitor them closely.

If you´re worried, you can always use a fresh proxy or an ISP proxy. They allow you to keep the same IP address, and we guarantee that our selection will never fail.

What are static residential proxies? Read about them in our post, What are ISP Proxies?

Do you need Discord proxies?

If you´re following the rules we reviewed in this blog post, you shouldn’t need a proxy to avoid IP bans. However, there are many more benefits to using a proxy on Discord, such as performance and security enhancements.

Feel free to contact the IPBurger team for information on what proxies best suit your needs.
