Once you’ve picked the right type, the setup itself is straightforward. The process is slightly different across each browser, so here’s how each one handles it.

GoLogin Proxy Setup

GoLogin supports HTTP, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5. SOCKS5 is the better choice for most setups as it handles more traffic types and provides stronger anonymity.

How to add a proxy:

1. Create or open an existing profile
2. Go to the Proxy tab and select Your Proxy
3. Choose your protocol, then enter the IP, port, username, and password
4. Run the built-in proxy checker to confirm the connection, timezone, geolocation, and WebRTC settings
5. Save and launch

If you’re setting up a lot of profiles at once, paste proxies in IP:port:user:pass format to bulk assign them across profiles. One proxy per profile, always.

How to add a proxy:

The built-in pool covers most use cases. Where it falls short is long-term account management. If your accounts need the same dedicated IP showing up consistently over weeks or months, an external static residential proxy is what gives you that. Rotating IPs are fine for creation and warmup. For stable multi-login browser proxies management, a fixed IP per account is the better call.
