The basics

What is a dedicated IP?

A dedicated IP is an IP address assigned exclusively to one user. Most VPNs and proxies hand you an address from a shared pool - the same IP is used by dozens or hundreds of other people, and it changes every time you reconnect. That's fine for anonymity, but it means the IP's reputation depends on what everyone else does with it, and services that check IPs will keep flagging you.

A dedicated IP is static and yours alone. Same address every time, no shared reputation, no punishment for someone else's behaviour.

What is a dedicated IP VPN?

Can I buy an IP address?

Not in the sense of owning it outright. IP addresses are allocated by regional internet registries, so nobody sells you permanent ownership. What you're buying is the exclusive right to use an IP for as long as your plan is active. With a private dedicated IP from IPBurger, that address is assigned only to you and is never shared with another customer.

Do I need a VPN subscription to get a dedicated IP?

What is the difference between a dedicated IP and a shared IP?

For best results, log into your account with the IP, browse a few pages, then leave it 24 hours before making any changes. Logging in from an unfamiliar IP with no history makes changes look high-risk. After that first day, use the account normally.

Can I create new accounts with this?

We don't recommend it. For creating new accounts, use our Fresh Dedicated IPs (brand-new IPs, never used before) or our Static ISP Proxies, which are optimised for stable access to online platforms.

Can I select a state or city?

No - dedicated IPs are assigned within your chosen country, not by state or city. For platforms like eBay, PayPal, and Amazon what matters is country of origin, IP consistency, and IP quality, and our dedicated IPs meet all three. Locations include the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, and France, with others on a case-by-case basis.
