Incogniton Integration Guide for IPBurger Proxies
This guide will show you how to configure your IPBurger proxy inside Incogniton for secure and isolated browsing.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
✔️ Installed and logged in to Incogniton
✔️ An active IPBurger proxy
✔️ Your proxy details:
- Host / IP Address
- Port
- Username
- Password
You can find these inside your IPBurger dashboard. Below is a sample view of the IPBurger dashboard:

⚠️ The dashboard interface may vary slightly depending on your purchased proxy type.
Convert Hostname to IP Address (If Needed)
Some applications require an IP address instead of a hostname. If your setup does not accept a hostname, you’ll need to convert it to an IP address first.
Below are examples based on your proxy type:
Fresh / Dedicated Proxies
These proxy types typically use a hostname like this:
89-34-XX-XX.ip.fresh.ipb.cloud 149-28-XXX-XXX.ip.private.ipb.cloud
Simply remove the domain portion and you will be left with:
89-34-XX-XX 149-28-XXX-XXX
These represent the IP address format (with dashes instead of dots). You can convert it to standard IP format by replacing dashes with dots.
89.34.X.X 149.28.X.X
Residential / Mobile Proxies
Residential proxies typically use a rotating gateway hostname like:
residential.ipb.cloud res.ipb.cloud resi3.ipb.cloud mobile.ipb.cloud
Convert Hostname to IP
- Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac/Linux)
- Windows: Press Win + R → type cmd → Enter
- Run the command: ping residential.ipb.cloud
- Look for the IP address in the result. You will see something like: Pinging residential.ipb.cloud [111.222.333.444]
👉 The number inside the brackets [ ] is the resolved IP address.
