Multiple accounts with Chrome users
Chrome has a feature to keep your sessions and cookies separated out in different isolated environments, which they call “Users” or “People”.
- Each Chrome user stores its own cookies, history, cache, add-ons, passwords, and sessions, separately from other Chrome users.
- No Cookies or Sessions are linked between two users, they act like separate browsers entirely.
- You can create as many users as you want, there is no limit. Removing them is also very easy.
These features of Chrome Users make it very simple for you to create and manage multiple Business Accounts.
The Rule of Thumb is, One Business Account > One Chrome User > One IPBurger Fresh/Dedicated IP Address
If you want to set up 5 accounts, you will need 5 Chrome Users and 5 Fresh/Dedicated IP Addresses from IPBurger.
Give it a Friendly Name, let’s call it Account #1.
A new Chrome Window should open now, which is a completely isolated browser environment and no data/cookies/history is linked with other Chrome users.
If Chrome Sign-in is enabled, it will automatically start syncing your data when you log into a Google service. That can lead to accidental cookies and data linkages between different Chrome users you create.
Disable Chrome Sign-in to prevent any such linkages. Go to Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Allow Chrome Sign-in.
Make sure that Allow Chrome Sign-in is idisabled.
If it asks you to Relaunch Chrome, click Relaunch.
The IPBurger Extension for Chrome is specifically designed for protecting Stealth/Business accounts. It turns your browser into a Protected Browser, where you can use your business account without ever worrying about leaks, being caught, or linked. The browser becomes a Safe Zone for your online activity.
Setting up the Extension is explained here:
That’s it! Your account is fully setup and ready to be used.
Follow the same process for any number of accounts you want to create.
Each of these users will be protected with a Dedicated IP address that you can use to access one of your business accounts.
Note: You do not need to create multiple user accounts in your compute. You can just create multiple Chrome users under the same user account. Since Chrome users do a pretty good job at keeping things separate, your data will not be linked.
You can keep multiple Chrome users and accounts open at once, and there would be no linkages between them.
As mentioned earlier, Chrome users are completely isolated from each other, and our Extension turns them into Safe Zones, where you can access your business accounts with trust and ease.
